Interconnecting layers for tandem organic solar cells

چکیده
The tandem structure provides a practical way to realize high-efficiency organic solar cells (OSCs). It overcomes several bottlenecks in single-junction OSCs such as thermalization loss, transmission and inefficient light absorption. In OSCs, the interconnecting layer (ICL) electrically connects two subcells it plays critical role determining device performance reproducibility. this review paper, we first give brief introduction working mechanism requirements for ICLs. We then compare three classes of ICLs based on their optical, mechanical, chemical properties. Finally, possible paths forward are discussed. Tandem high efficiency single junction loss
